Devlog 27: Day 587
Five hundred and eighty-seven, that's how many entries my super secret personal log for Afterlife Gladiator has. Each one represents a day of my life, gone forever.
Of course, many of these entries are empty to represent days where I couldn't get anything done and, being an amateur with a job, even a "good" day's progress can be as little as 30 minutes.
Nevertheless, progress, no matter how small, adds up, and today I could finally play Afterlife Gladiator from beginning to end.
The game is not ready for a commercial release. Some of the slides I drew could use some updating, the writing is in serious need of proofreading, there are no credits and there's always more jank to be fixed. I would also like to try doing a little bit of marketing so I'm not the last person to ever see the ending. On a different note, there's always personal stuff to deal with and other games to make.
However, for the time being, I'm glad I actually finished something, even if it's still in need of polish.
I wish I had a cool visual to post here, but I didn't have enough time to draw one so please imagine I did. Farewell, I hope my hypothetical audience likes the ending and I hope to see you again in about 2 weeks.
