Devlog 24: Writing is hard.

Sadly, I don't have a lot to comment on this time around. I prefer to focus on general improvements in order to avoid spoilers hoping to avoid annoying my imaginary readers. I know it bothers me when I look for information on a series I'm interested in just to get spoiled by accident.

However, during the past few 2 weeks I have only fixed minor issues that were unlikely to ever affect a single soul to the point that I don't even feel like mentioning them. Most of the time was spent on the new content in preparation for the next installment of Demo Days which is what I would like to briefly touch on since Afterlife Gladiator has so much dialogue in it and I have never commented on it.

I don't think I have ever discarded so many pages of anything before. I'm not a writer, just a guy a keyboard who is barely proficient in the English language. However, I do try to keep some rules in mind and the most important one is the following: All dialogue must either advance the plot or develop either the characters or the world in a relevant way.

On that note, I have no idea what came over me, but it was certainly inconvenient. I think I lost sight of what I wanted to accomplish with each character interaction and ended up coming up with a lot of garbage that wouldn't look out of place in a conversation while driving to the store  to pick up toilet paper or something.

Anyway, I said too much already. Sometimes Demo Day comes a bit earlier so next devlog will probably be about addressing feedback from the event, assuming I get some. Until then, here's a minor spoiler to spoil you.

Thank you for reading, wonderful hypothetical person, and I hope to see you again in 2 weeks.
