Devlog 20: Working hard on new content
It was bound to happen sooner or later, but I really have nothing to comment on this time around. As the title says, these last 2 weeks I've been working on finishing more levels in preparation for the next Demo Days. My reasoning behind this is that I should finish all of the content before I go back and polish the rest.
On that note, I'm happy to say that I'll likely have 3 new levels ready in time for Demo Days 54 for a total of 18 stages out of the planned 22. The end draws near.
Also, now buttons in the main hub have labels. I find this feature noteworthy because it came to me in a dream.
After I finish the last level I'll have to make real efforts when it comes to marketing and I'm dreading that, but the future happens whether we like it or not. When it comes to storytelling, I think tragedies afford the audience some comfort in the sense that there's certainty about the nature of the events that are about to unfold. You know ahead of time that the protagonist will have a bad time so it softens the blow somewhat for when it actually happens.
Anyway, that has nothing to do with making games. I'm just rambling because this devlog is the shortest one I've ever written. Thank you for reading and I hope to see you again in two weeks.
