Devlog 19: Working on new content, enemy spawns and main hub changes.
I don't have much to say this time around if I want to avoid spoilers. As the title implies, these last two weeks have been mostly dedicated to working on new content. There's some older stuff I would like to work on too but I'd rather finish the remaining levels before I try to improve what's already there. Otherwise it's frightening how easy it is to become trapped in an endless cycle of perfectionism.
Enemy spawns have been changed significantly since the last update. Now it should be possible to retry the same encounter after losing to it, a change requested months ago that I just got around to implementing, but better late than never.
Another far more noticeable change are the character sprites in the main hub. I decided to make them slightly larger since I was making a bunch of new characters anyway. I think it looks better this way and I could even add optional interactions at certain points of the story, but certainly not until I'm done with the remaining levels. Anyway, here's a picture of most of the gang together. I find it rather cozy.
That's all I had this time around so I bid you, my wonderful imaginary audience, farewell and I hope to see you again in 2 weeks.
