Devlog 12: A small update plus Steam page announcement
I don't have much to show for this time around since I've been working on new content for the game and the next levels require a fair amount of new assets. However, I have added a small improvement to readability since now status effects are displayed in the journal when hovering the mouse over a unit. An obvious feature to implement in hindsight that helps elucidate some of the more esoteric status effects that show up in later levels such as evil marks, interest and king of all beasts.
Anyway, the big news this time around is that I finally have a Steam page for the game! I'm still missing a trailer and the demo is not yet available on Steam, but I've been advised that I should publish it as soon as possible regardless so here it's the link.
Afterlife Gladiator on Steam! Woooh!
Obviously you can follow or wishlist the game if you want to know when it comes out. You can also wishlist it anyway to fool the metrics of our AI overlords. I'd be thankful either way.
Life has been getting in the way lately, but I'll try to keep working on Afterlife Gladiator as much as I can. I'll also try to market the game somewhere, although I'd rather make game instead.
That's all I had for today. I hope my hypothetical Internet audience thinks my game is worth something and I'll see you in 2 weeks.
